Official: Oil prices to remain on current level till mid-2018

MOSCOW, May 26 (PRIME) -- Alexei Kudrin, chairman of the board at Russia’s Center for Strategic Research, said on Friday that oil prices will remain on the current level until mid-2018.

The compliance with the OPEC plus non-member agreement to reduce oil output has been unprecedentedly high.

“I think, this means that they will be able to use the potential for some time and to temporary influence prices this way. This is why it (the oil price) will remain on a level where it is now until approximately the middle of next year,” Kudrin said.
